Brandy grew up in a military family. Her father was in the Navy until she was 12 years old and when he retired her family eventually settled in West Virginia around the Charleston area. She considers herself a native of the south land and has the twangy accent that proves it.
After high school she attended Marshall University studying Theatre. She is a Thundering Herd fan to this day!
Brandy’s restless spirit eventually took her to work for the Delta Queen Steamboat Company out of New Orleans (Currently American classic voyages). There she was a bartender and she met her Minnesota boy Jerry Kane. In 1999 the two married and moved to the Bold North. In 2002 Brandy gave birth to their first child Autumn. In 2010 they had their second child Wyatt. Brandy always enjoyed working with people in the service industry. For many years she worked part-time either catering with Jerry and his mother Janet or in retail sales. Brandy was a stylist at Express Fashion for 4 years and a sales lead for 2 years.
In 2017 dedicated all of her work time to Kane’s Catering. She enjoys working the parties and has taken a major role in launching a new look to the brand. Brandy loves the fast pace of the work and feels honored to be a part of so many special days.
Brandy lives in Woodbury where she love to support Woodbury High school cheering on the football team “Go Royals!”
When Brandy is not working you can find her cheering on her daughter’s team at a gymnastics meet, screaming for her son and his team in the latest sports adventure. In her much valued “spare time” you can find her local gym or jogging her favorite trail.
